Back when I was on a total creature kick (more than now, that is) I really, really wanted to draw Cerberus, but I never had an original enough idea for it. So my friend Eileen gave me two suggestions; wings, or standing up. This is the Cerberus who got the wings, and the creature just grew up around them. Another very popular picture at Fanime.
Last year, I accidently sold the original to a con-goer (I thought it was a print). They were good enough to e-mail me and tell me what had happened, and offered to return it to me for a copy. I was so touched by their honesty that I let them keep it. Date of completion: 04-24-03 |
