Black Death

Part two of two of a special edition Halloween Masquerade duo; counterpart to Red Death, the Black Death Masquerade. Full view for full deatils, please!

Once more, the concept was there, and the picture looked good until I got to color it. Despite what people say, I still think it's horrible, considering the limited colors I had to work with and to make sure they didn't clash with each other.

I wanted to go for something really different compared to my other Masquerade pictures. While the majority of them are regal and elegant, I wanted the Black Death masque to be a little more modern, and try to focus more on sickness rather than death. Hence the gas mask, the melty-looking dress, and the ugly color combinations. Overall, something that's supposed to make you feel ill just looking at. Whether or not I acheived that is up to the viewer.
